thanks! I didn't use a stencil, I drew the outlines first with a pencil and then colored it in with sharpie.

Hmm...cool.
I hope you don't mind me asking,but:
I'm new to the art of making custom shoes,and I haven't been satisfied with my work so far. Do you recommend using stencils for shoes,or instead drawing the outline first?

I'm new to it too, this is only the third pair I've made :P but I guess it depends on what you're using to make the shoes. If you're using spraypaint then a stencil is necessary. If you're using markers or detail paintbrushes then I feel like it is easier to use an outline and work free hand.
